TrueRelief is unlike any other electrical therapy, using proprietary electrical configuration combined with its unique probe delivery system. TrueRelief uses a high frequency of 20,000 Hz and pulsed direct current. The high frequency electrical stimulation (HFES) used in TrueRelief has been proven to reduce nociceptor neuroinflammatory mediator release and significantly attenuates hyperalgesia.

Unlike other therapy devices, TrueRelief electrical stimulation enters the body through the primary probe and exits the body into the secondary probe at 20,000 Hz (other electrical stimulation devices that use 50-400 Hz). This very high frequency has been found to enable much deeper tissue penetration into the patient compared to lower frequency devices.
